Our Story
Originally purchased from a NCMG, as a turnkey salon in Napa, CA in 2004, Tails of the City quickly grew into a small chain of 3 salons and 2 mobile trucks by 2008 throughout Solano County!
However, by 2016 it was the Vacaville salon that not only stood the test of time but became the birthplace where the Tails of the City brand grew to new levels. Tails of the City stopped being just another dog salon and morphed into the community of self-employed groomers that it is today. It was here our high standards were cultivated and our standard of care became a constant. Our clients can always count on us despite being served by a variety of self-employed technicians.
Now with purpose in its heart, Tails of the City Dog Salon has a new vision to bring an elite choice to both pet parents and groomers near and far, where both are honored and cared for simultaneously.
